Sanctuary

Exhilaration is a strong contender for our attention, with the joy of the firsts of anything, elation when surrounded by people who love and care—the thrill of giving, not to gain. Absolute delight when assembled with like-minded friends and diversity where happiness extends our reach. Being in a calm and relaxing environment, a sanctuary of peace, a haven for rest.

What has happened to humans who cannot discover in places the unique expression in their surroundings? The forgotten passed by without a second thought for the deep texture found. We are encased by our things to compete and compare yet aversion to ignore, the most important of all.

How would it be to adventure within your walls and drawers indeed? What would you find, what would you discover or be discarding. Are you enjoying the offering as uncovering the hidden?

What is there to pass on, what is there to keep?

Mind clutter can be accumulated much like the keep, in bottom drawers for just in case, and I might need that. No one needs to pull up last year's mistakes, the previous week's regrets, or yesterday's forgotten dates. Delete, erase, rephrase your thinking for optimal liberation.

I believe it is essential to acquire a sacred space within your home, a sanctuary if you please—a haven from the burdens of care to be cast.

I like to remind you that your bedroom is one such place to rest and recuperate. So it makes good sense for it to be a most uncluttered domain for optimal enjoyment wherever you lay your head.

I know we live in 2021, where modern technology has moved front and center into our privacy. While you can choose, wouldn't your desire a true sanctuary to unwind and defuse the negativity. Instead, create a space for relaxation and blissful revitalization. No phones, no technology.

Your mind should enjoy much the same. A regular sorting out to make sure nothing is lurking or festering, stagnating, or reeking.

Some use their bedroom as the dumping ground for their unused stuff.

I mean, really, how is it possible to enjoy the rest covered in yesterday's mess. Uneaten food on plates, dirty laundry, paperwork, all kinds of weird kind of stuff, that's just rough. Not realizing that exposure to such will affect you much. Okay- that's my rant. Some haven't left behind bad habits, much like a negative mindset of regurgitation at the close of day - rehashing scenarios that tangle your wires, leaving you with bad reception.

I taught my family a few life hacks for optimizing their morning routine. Jump out of bed and make your bed within half an hour; utilize 15/minutes at the close of the day to pick up, sort out, and keep organized.

Of course, we all have our rhythm of life and how we choose to do it. However, this has been a go-to anytime things were out of wack to get back on track. We create a habit, recognize the power in repetitive routines, and rewire the brain for ultimate connection.

Tuned into a higher frequency for added security. Forgoing the stress for serenity.

More importantly, is your attitude of gratitude, the way you rest and calm your mind. How you clean up the internal clutter at the end of the day with a relaxed mental attitude, giving thankful praise, mindful contemplation on all that is being present. In the privacy of your own space, is clarity to be gained. Letting go and surrender to the universe all your stress and woes, choosing gratitude and appreciation to lull you off to sleep, in everything giving thanks.

How you wake is continued in the same as exhilaration breathes life into your new and wonderful day. Yes, a smile greets the light.

As you see your surroundings with mindfulness, everything becomes new when you change the way you think. Every Thought My Choice is happiness in your day.

Remember, Relax, Dream Big!
