"Trust in the Lord." The wisdom in Proverbs 3:5-6 is necessary for every situation you face in life. Verses 5 and 6 are part of one sentence: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."
What you need and what you desire are the two most misconstrued words amongst the seeker. As if a justification for cutting through a connective tissue of discernment would determine the correction. A need being logic and a desire some way or somewhat selfish.
Our most profound, most prevalent desires are our needs. They are one of the same.
However, the result of fulfillment arrives when you are not attached to the outcome. Fleeting feelings and emotional responses are in check.
A more deliberate focus on instruction rather than emotional reactions is required. A thoughtful response to feeling is bringing every thought captive. Instead, you are leaning toward faith, relaxing in trust, believing you must discover a personalized treasure between the need and desire. This union is determined from wisdom, as mind, will, and emotions are under a covering of divine intervention.
Do you desire to dance in the rain, swim in an ocean, climb a mountain, speak to someone you are yet to meet? Do you prefer a better way to live, to love to learn? Is your desire being subdued with fear or restrained with reservation? Do not stress - though necessary need, unfulfilled desire is resumed.
Our unique ability to choose, accept, or discard thought and intent is ours to own.
Our occupation with the outcome can hinder perception and therefore delay the reception of action.
Understanding the intricacies of need and desire is to understand who God is and how marvelous all the details of life connect in producing a peculiar people.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart (with your whole being, your thinking surrendered to a higher authority beyond your human limitation).
Lean not on your understanding (leaning toward our reasoning of circumstance to outcome is viewed with a flawed premise from a limited perspective and perceived ideal). In All your ways acknowledge Him (how refreshing and deliberate on our part to daily look to with awe-inspiring wonder at the work of God, from the breath we take to the beat of our heart to the working of our thinking mind, the stars and moon held in place, He is to be praised. The things out of your control and reason surrendered to more excellent principles for completion. And He will direct your path., So in all that right attitude of gratitude toward the source of our existence, we can have utmost confidence to weigh the balance in our day. Knowing every step we take, every move we make, God is watching over us. Can you accept with reverence, His will for your life as unfolding in His perfection regardless of flaws? A knowing that there is a delivering always a more valuable outcome for His glory and our benefit. Bringing emotional responsiveness into benevolence. Therefore, releasing the constriction of escapism with responsibility as defined.
The light bulb moment or your greatest jewel for possession is (do not leave home without it) Trust and Faith in the only wise God, our savior. Thereby, He will give you the desires of your heart, as He knows you true well, better than you know yourself., will meet your needs, and the peace of God that passes all understanding will keep you from falling into undesirable thinking of limiting beliefs that withhold His highest and Best for your magnificent life.
There is a desire in man for riches, the need for contentment, fulfillment at the core. (encompassing true riches).
There is a desire in man for acceptance, the need to love and be loved, understood at the core.
There is a desire for power; the need for control is a responsibility, daily decisions at the core.
Every Thought My Choice is about the choices you make. How you choose to think about things, your perspective on a matter determines your ability to receive valuable information for the application. "To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled." Titus 1:15
There is a valuable asset in a mindset on things that encourage, build-up, edify and promote wellbeing for excellence, as what you spend your time thinking about is evident in attitude.
Our distorted perception of perceived ideas can discourage and restrict, whereas calm, peace, and clarity arrive from faith and trust as a relaxed mental attitude revitalizes the soul for purposes.
Optimizing wellbeing with gratitude and appreciation filling you with hope as love permeates your senses.
So allow your needs to meet as your desire is established with wisdom and understanding, creating an exceptional outlook with enthusiasm.
